ORCHESTRA / ARCHIVE ORBIT SIMULATION

Give every footage month a turn.

Run a tiny training batch through a six-month archive and watch the sampler spread its archive draws across the months it can use.

Fictional clips and counts. This browser demo reads no recordings, calls no model and reports no live training state.

HOW THE REAL SAMPLER RULE WORKS

Fair turns, inside a bounded batch.

01

Choose live or archive

The existing source mix decides whether a draw comes from live material or the archive.

02

Find eligible months

For an archive draw, footage timestamps group usable clips by UTC month. Undated clips stay out while dated options exist.

03

Give the least-drawn a turn

The sampler picks among eligible months tied for the fewest archive draws, then applies the existing fresh/stale choice within that month.

Scope: This simulation isolates month selection. It does not show the full training quotas, item reuse caps, held-out sites, GPU schedule or production exposure ledger. The new sampler code is in Research; this demo does not claim it is running in production.
